Just kidding, but Ben and I have been talking about how he wants to hire Kevin Pritchard and I think he's overrated. I'm not going to use this post to have that whole discussion but I will use it to say what the Cavs really need out of a GM. They need a hard ass. Some one who will go out of his way to humble LeBron. When asked about him, instead of sucking him off in front of the media say something like "We'd love to have LeBron back, but if not we have plenty of options to keep this team a contender. That's what you have to remember it's a team game not just one player." Just so James can get a bit of his own medicine. Come in with a coach who's got a game plan on defense and offense. Be aggressive, get proven players who aren't 34. Finally fucking use the draft again. This is what I want out of our new GM. And if we don't get LeBron back, trade Mo and Jamison for Monta Ellis and Biendris and get defensive stoppers all around them and whenever you play James make sure he doesn't score.

So I don't remember if I have posted it here before but the Cavs have lost to the team that went to or won the Finals for like the past 4 or 5 years. That's a stat that ESPN should run. Also talking to Ben he said Landon Donovan is the Kobe Bryant of soccer. I responded by saying I don't think there is a player in any sport like Kobe and I don't know if we are realizing how good he really is.

Now I, like the rest of you, can't wait for Madden '11 so I can take the 'Fins to the Superbowl. But in talks with Ben about the Bears his enthusiasm for them was far too great. It seems to me that optimism in the offseason is like masturbation. Yeah it feels good, but in the end your just stroking yourself. Either stroking your dick or your own brain into thinking your team will win it all. I know the Dolphins have a poor defense. I just hope the corners improve and Dansby has a trickle down effect making everyone better.
