Quick Hits

Before I delve deep in to the potential goodness that is to come, let me do a quick survey of Carmelo Anthony. To me he seems to be quite the copy of Paul Pierce. That same all around scoring ability is my main point. You can just see 'Melo developing that same shot and style Pierce has now, once he starts to get a little older and calm down. In fact he is such a potential Paul Pierce doppelganger that I even see him in green in some years. As good as this Nuggets team is, it has peaked this year. K-Mart is too old be be his old self, Nene has hit his player ceiling and worst, Billips is on the decline and can't keep this pace up much longer. The long term future of this team is not that promising, so when Pierce accepts a smaller role or retires in Boston, why wouldn't they look towards Anthony. He may catch the Big Three in their last years then get to carry those bench players and up and coming draft picks to a six seed in the East.

Now I can't wait until the next round of the playoffs. These series' have seemed to drag on forever and just are not interesting anymore. I want to see Nuggets v. Lakers and Cavs v. Boston right away. These two series' are going to bring some memorable moments, just wait.
